         carefully, then do parts A, B, and C only.  The easiest way to tell the
         difference between these very similar words is to memorize the saying
        "'This' and 'these' have t's; 'that' and 'those' don't."  Notice that
         este, esta, estos, estas have a "t," but ese, esa, esos, esas don't.   
         Addtionally,
notice that the singular masuculine forms of these words
         end in
e, not o.

         The first letter is written to an advice columnist, and the second letter
          is the advice columnist's answer.  You may not understand everything,
          but you will understand enough to write answers to the
          following three activities:
           1)  Identify two problems/complaints in the first letter
           2)  Identify one solution offered by the columnist
           3)  Answer the seven questions on the "¿Comprendes?" activity on
                    pg. 289.  Read each sentence and write the name of the person
                    who would say it:  Marta, Rosario, or their mom.

2.  Practice Test 5B.  Monday's 5B exam is one of the most difficult tests of
         the semester, so this practice test was completed in class to help students
         determine how much they need to study over the weekend.

          The 5B exam is Monday, and 5B is one of the most difficult chapters
           of the year.  Continued at-home practice is encouraged.

           put the packets away.  We will finish them on Friday.    On Act. 10, you
           should use the following frameworks to write about yourself (#1) and
          about other members of your family (#2-4).
