G.E.D. High School Equivalency Test Preparation Tues. 4:00 7:00 ongoing 201801 

Fee: No charge for preparation, $6.00 per pre‐test, $35.00 per test

Location: Montecito High School Campus – 720 9th Street, Ramona

Our GED Center is available for test preparation. Based on results of practice tests, students can determine whether they are ready to take the official High School Equivalency Exams. We have Math and English tutors available to help students prepare on Tuesday evenings from 4:00 ‐6:00pm. Pre‐registration and a reading assessment is required and our center is open Tuesdays, 4:00 – 7:00pm, this is an open entry/open leave. We are a Pearson Vue authorized testing center and offer the GED exam via computer. To sign up for the GED

Tests you must first register through, this can be done at our GED Center. All test scheduling and payments are done through the GED website. The  GED exam consists of four parts: Reasoning through Language

Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science and Social studies. The cost is $35.00 per exam or $140 for all four parts. More information can be found on the website.

Adult Education Diploma 
Tues. 4:00 – 6:00 ongoing 201802

Fee: No charge

Location: Montecito High School Campus – 720 9th Street, Ramona 

Adults can earn a High School diploma from Ramona Adult School upon successful completion of 190 credits. All new and returning adult education students who    want to complete their high school diploma must register,

complete a reading assessment and meet with our Registrar to discuss options and schedule classes. If you are a new student to the Ramona Adult Diploma program it  is important you bring a copy of your high school transcript if possible, no appointment is necessary.

SMAW and GMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding & Gas Metal Arc Welding)
Advance Welding Course includes:
GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding)
All four welding positions will be taught (Flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead) which prepare students for the American Welding Society certification.
