New Student Registration is open for the CURRENT 2021-2022 school year.
If you have a new student entering our district for the first time, or is returning to RUSD after transferring out of our district, click on the appropriate academic year button at the bottom of this page to complete the online registration process.
Before you begin online registration for a new student:
Please set aside approximately 45 minutes to complete the online form. Before you begin, you may want to gather the following:
- Family medical history
- Emergency contact information – trusted adults the school can contact if parents/guardians cannot be reached
- Scans/Images of Birth Certificate, Immunization Records, Photo ID, and proof of residency documents. Document uploads are optional during online registration; however very necessary when staff is not available to hold registration appointments during closures.
- For 10th, 11th and 12th graders - please provide a copy of your student's unofficial transcripts.
If you have any questions regarding the questions included in the registration process, please contact your child’s school during regular office hours (closed July).

The Chat Support feature offers 24/7 support for technical issues you may be experiencing. Additionally, Chat Support is available in Spanish from 7am-5pm EST. Although Chat Support is the preferred method of support from PowerSchool, users can call 866-434-6276 for registration technical support. PowerSchool Support is for technical questions only; they do not provide snapcodes or answer any school specific registration questions.
