Mrs. Grace was named Superintendent of Ramona Unified School District in June, 2019. With 34 years of public education experience, Mrs. Grace is known for her established leadership roles across all grade levels, strength in building effective teams, collaboration and focus on increasing student learning and achievement. Theresa has served as an Elementary and Middle School Principal, a High School Assistant Principal and started her career as an Agriculture Teacher at the high school level. She has served our school district for the past six years as the Assistant Superintendent of Education Services.
Mrs. Grace has a strong background in the creation and implementation of innovative programs to support professional learning for teachers, classified staff and management. Student learning is the "north star" that has guided her work in education. Theresa grew up in Ramona; she attended Ramona Elementary School and graduated from Ramona High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a Master of Science degree from National University, San Diego. Mrs. Grace lives in Ramona with her husband, Robert, who is also an educator in the district.
