<div class="edit">Ramona Unified School District Transportation Department&nbsp;Welcomes Youto the 2017 - 2018 School Year!<div style="">The 2017 - 2018 school year brings exciting changes to the Transportation Department.&nbsp; We will be continuing to use our school bus pass system,&nbsp;ZPass. But this year, we will be issuing a new card with your student's picture and all the information they will need to have a safe and successful ride to and from school. The&nbsp;ZPass&nbsp;will have a new look and updated safety features.&nbsp; It will include electronic scanning capabilities that are integrated only with RUSD, allowing the Transportation Department to know when your child has entered and exited the bus.&nbsp;</div>It is important for us to ensure that each and every student arrives at the correct bus stop for school-to-home drop off.&nbsp;&nbsp;If you have a Kindergarten, first grade, or newly enrolled student, we must be aware of that and you will need to come into the Bus Pass office to receive your pass.&nbsp;&nbsp; For your child’s safety, do not put your child on a school bus unless they have either the&nbsp;ZPass&nbsp;or a temporary bus pass and have a clear understanding of the location of their bus stop.We hope that these new features provide you with additional confidence that the safety of your child continues to be our top priority.&nbsp; We look forward to yet another year of safe school bus transportation.If you have questions, please contact:&nbsp;&nbsp; Lisa Walker, Transportation Office Technician (760-787-2056).Sincerely,Lynnda Conklin, Transportation Manager</div>
